Thames photography comp launched

The Thames Festival Trust, in partnership with the Port of London Authority (PLA), have launched an annual photography competition Thames Lens. During lockdown, many people relied on the River Thames as a source of comfort and solace as a part of their daily walk.

This was as true in Twickenham as anywhere, with footfall on the Riverside up and lots of activity on and near the water. Any budding amateur photographers who have captured great pictures of the Thames and what it means to them with the theme ‘My Thames Vision’ are encouraged to enter the Thames Lens competition. Prizes will include photography courses, exhibition tickets, vouchers and more. Participants can enter via The Thames Festival Trust Website or via Instagram using #ThamesLens. There is also an Under 25 Category. The competition closes to entries on Friday 28 January 2022 and for more info and details on how to enter see here.
